Week re-cap & raves about my hubs :)

So I feel like I have to rave about Noah by sharing THREE things that my husband has been such a servant by doing:

1) When I came home from New Zealand, he was waiting at the airport with a big bouquet of roses and a packed picnic in the car. BUT he took me to my favorite local & organic sandwich making shop in St. Paul so I could pick out a fresh sandwich for our picnic :) then we went to the beautiful como park & lake, and had our picnic out on the pier. Sigh, it was so romantic and wonderful.

2) This tuesday when I came home from work, he had dinner waiting, the pumpkin spice candles lit and and the house tidied. He came home an hour before me so decided to spoil me! We are pretty egalitarian, so its not normally my 'job' to cook....we always do it together {like everything by the way...shopping, laundry, cooking, cleaning...we just love being together!} but he told me he knew I would be extra tired cuz it was a hard shift so he didn't want me doing anything. awwwww...

3)Noah gave me a beautiful solid sterling bangle this week. Its for our first year anniversary. He had a beautiful {real} pink sapphire placed in the middle to represent our one year. He told me he plans on putting an additional sapphire in each anniversary. Lets just say he blessed my socks off!! (photos below) :) (p.s. he had it done at a christian private jeweler who doesn't pay to advertise, so they keep their costs low...so he got the bangle & sapphire for the manufacturing price and just paid $28 for the work to be done!!! it was a ssaaaweeet deal)

Monday - Amy had the day off so made an AWESOME lasagna with Italian sausage, beef, marinara, ricotta cheese and fresh mozzarella...mmmm....

Rollerskating {old school style} with Tim & Marla Tuesday night :)



Wednesday was full on for both of us and my poor hubs crashed when he came home (we had baked beans on toast that night because we were sooooo knackered!) :) love that we both have crazy schedules, and understand eachother :)


Thursday: work, cuddling on the couch watching our favorite shows & then my bangle :)





Saturday:

{No photos because we slept in until 1030am and then cuddled in bed until 2:30pm :) then we went and got a sunday and hopped back in bed} :) We work hard then rest hard!

{and we have to catch up on all the cuddling during the week we missed out on}


....tomorrow we head up north to the North Shore for some epic fall camping by Lake Superior (our tenting site is literally on the side of a cliff - oohhhh yeah!)
